What is THE Internet of Things (IOT) ?

Internet of Things means interlinking of devices, building, vehicles in sync with the software, sensors and the network in order to exchange the data without requiring human to computer or human to human interaction. The term first coined by the British entrepreneur Kevin Ashton while working at Auto – ID Labs. In 1999, Neil Gross predicted as “In the next century, planet earth will don an electronic skin. It will use the internet as a platform to support and transmit its sensations”.
